All items manufactured by Bogart Engineering (battery monitors, charge controller, interfaces) have a 3-year limited warranty covering any item that does not perform according to specifications stated or implied in our instructions, provided failure is not due to abuse or misapplication. We will replace a failed item with a new or refurbished item or repair the failed item at our option. Please contact us directly with questions regarding any repairs or services.
Items resold by us (shunts, wiring harness, etc) are warranted for a period of 90 days from the purchase date.
A return authorization is required for all merchandise returned to Bogart Engineering. This Limited Product Warranty is valid only in the jurisdictions where the Products are sold by Bogart Engineering or through its authorized reseller or agent and is valid to the extent permitted by the applicable laws of such jurisdictions. Any replacement product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be required by applicable law. This warranty does not apply to a product or part of a product that has been serviced, altered, refurbished, or modified by anyone who is not authorized by Bogart Engineering. Bogart Engineering shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss of profits, revenue or data, resulting from any breach of express or implied warranty or condition or under any other legal theory, even if Bogart Engineering has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Bogart Engineering shall not be liable for any costs whatsoever incurred for repairs, technical support, or services provided by any reseller, agent, or installer.
How to obtain warranty service:
Bogart Engineering may require proof of purchase before performing warranty service. To obtain warranty service, a return authorization must be requested from our customer service team. To request a return authorization, please contact Bogart Engineering via our contact page or send an email to bogart at bogartengineering dot com. The return authorization number must be included along with your returned product. The product must be delivered in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection, to the address specified by Bogart Engineering. The cost of shipping an item to Bogart Engineering is borne by the customer, irrespective of the warranty coverage. All International shipping charges associated with repairs and replacements from Bogart Engineering are to be paid by the customer.
